An MP’s first job is to represent their constituents. This means fighting for your interests and championing Northampton South at a national level.

But it all begins with listening. I have have created this survey to get a better sense of what you want from your local MP, so that I can do my very best to represent our town if I am elected.

How do we cut crime and anti-social behaviour in our town?

Some schools in Northampton have been rated Inadequate by Ofsted. How do we improve the quality of education?

Build more primary and secondary schools Increase funding for teacher and teaching assistant training Stop teachers from striking

Northants Council doesn’t have enough money to maintain our streets properly. With the limited money they have got, where should their priorities be?

Resurfacing roads, rather than spot repairs on potholes Build more roads to reduce queues around the town Increase street cleaning to clear up rubbish and mess

In the last year, what has happened to your household bills, such as gas and electric, your food shop and your internet/phone bill?

They’ve gone up a lot and I’ve had to cut back on luxuries to pay the increased amount They’ve gone up a bit but they’re manageable without cutting back They’re the same or cheaper than a year ago

How comfortable do you feel that your life will get better with Rishi Sunak, Liz Truss and Dominic Raab running the country?

That trio of leaders are the ones for me. I know that they’ve finally got a plan to improve our country after 13 years in government I don’t believe they are the right people to lead the United Kingdom and deliver a greener, fairer future for our country
